Déjà-Vu no.15: Tokyo Diaries/ Phillip-Lorca diCorcia

Softcover | out of print | 160 pages

Published by Photo-Planète, 1994.

The amazing Japanese photography quarterly published during the early 90s, Déjà-vu was seminal in the formation of Japanese-Western photographic dialogue. The bilingual publication strayed from the technical photography magazines that dominated the industry, and instead presented extended photographic features on contemporary photographers with accompanying essays written in both Japanese and English.

This edition is a Tokyo Diaries feature, and includes works from Nan Goldin, Nobuyoshi Araki, Kineo Kuwabara, Osamu Kanemura and Kyoji Takahashi. It also includes an extensive feature on the work of Phillip-Lorca diCorcia.
