Années érotique: The Christophe Brunnquell Purple Book

French artist Christophe Brunnquelle started out as the Art Director for Purple Magazine from 1993, where his career blossomed. In 2004 he launched Carnival Magazine to showcase his own art work. However, while working for some of the big design brands such as Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Céline, he remained part of the Purple Magazine team.
His artist book, Années érotiques featuring his semi-abstract, black and white ink drawings described as ‘paraphs’, was produced for the Spring/Summer 2008 issue. It was one of the evolving special editions for Purple Magazine published by Olivier Zahm.
