Made during a six-month residency at the International Studio and Curatorial Program in New York in 2005. Belgian photographer Anne Daems photographs young New Yorkers caught unawares — on the sidewalks of SoHo, in the subway, under scaffolding, in traffic and through shop windows. The candid surveillance-style snapshots are accompanied by a conversation between Daems and artist Dan Graham on the subjects of people, voyeurism and normality. Edition of 1,000 copies.
