Includes 19 black and white plates featuring Weber's photographs of sportsmen and actors — among them the boxer Andy Minsker, fencer Peter Schifrin, Mexican track athlete Lupe and the actor Matt Dillon, who appears in five portraits. Ammann's essay addresses Weber's ability to capture the complex relationship athletes have with their own bodies, between self-assurance and vulnerability.
