Japanese edition. Morris was 17 when Johnny Rotten asked him to photograph the Sex Pistols. He had already spent three years as Bob Marley's tour photographer, invited along by Marley himself after being impressed by the teenager's work. Destroy collects Morris's black and white photographs from the final twelve months of the band's existence, documenting the Pistols at close range through rehearsals, performances, hotel rooms and the disintegration that followed. Morris approached the assignment with the instincts of a war photographer. Over 170 photographs. Black and white throughout.
