    Retrospective exhibition catalogue surveying Rio Branco's work — from the streets of Salvador da Bahia to boxing gyms, sex workers, decaying interiors and the physical extremes of the body. A Magnum associate since 1980, Rio Branco works in saturated colour with a raw, visceral intensity, often pairing and juxtaposing images to create sequences that move between documentary, abstraction and installation. Published the year after his Aperture monograph.
