Ferrané photographs his wife and their child during breastfeeding over a period of several months, from the first days at the maternity ward through to the end of nursing. Structured as a loose diary, the sequence follows feeding's imposition of its own geometry on bodies and domestic space, interspersed with landscapes and views from the window marking the passage of time and seasons. The first printing of 500 copies sold out quickly.
